Open-source humanoid robotics community

One reference robot. A community of builders.

Faratics is a platform for learning, building, and improving open-source humanoid robots together. It begins with Valery, the first standard reference model created by M. R. Farabinesh.

Why Faratics

Progress should be shared.

Valery establishes a tested starting point. Once its first version and learning materials are complete, community members will be able to study Farabinesh’s lessons, reproduce the model, exchange findings, and contribute improvements.

The goal is not a single finished machine. It is a long-term, open platform where each year’s knowledge helps create stronger Valery versions and other community-developed robots.

The community protocol

Learn. Build. Discuss. Improve.

01 / REFERENCE

Founder model

Valery v1 is completed and validated by Farabinesh as the common technical foundation.

02 / EDUCATION

Open lessons

Clear instructions teach members how the reference robot is designed and built.

03 / COMMUNITY

Shared building

Members reproduce the model, discuss results, and collaborate openly after release.

04 / EVOLUTION

Yearly progress

Community knowledge supports improved Valery editions and new open-source robots.

Valery v1 is not released yet.

Discussion and curiosity are welcome. Building from the official model begins only after Farabinesh completes the prototype, confirms the final changes, and publishes the first-version lessons and instructions.

Origin

Faratics was founded by M. R. Farabinesh. The ecosystem, its first reference model, and its teaching-led community path began with his work on Valery. Visit the founder’s official website ↗
